BEAR WITH ME....

For the past several weeks, I've done quite a lot of linking, outright lifting, and copying other people's work and little original writing.  At the very least, give me points for linking to those to whom credit is due.  I've been called to take on demanding family responsibilities which leave me less time online and somewhat drained of creativity.  I'd like to say this, too, shall pass, but I'm fairly certain that the situation will not change any time soon.  Sooo, bear with me, if you will....

  1. Do take care, Grandmere! We shall survive our impoverishment of your clever originality for the time being. And who knows? As you bear your current challenges, they may well inspire brilliants posts in the future. Till then, prayers and blessings.

  6. Why do I tear up when you, my good readers, show compassion?

No one is ill or dying or anything. My son is a single dad, and it ain't easy. Grandpère and I try to help him as much as we can.

  8. There is absolutely no way to convey how much your intelligence, wit and good 'ole Southern common sense and charm lift my spirits every day. Prayers that all God's tender mercies and living waters pour into your life and the life of your family.

AND, like JCF I am lifting this cartoon. It is hilarious good.

in whatever way, to whatever degree it may be, your online work, but more importantly, your presence is a great gift not only to our network of concern but to the larger Church (and I might add, a force to be reckoned with).
so do what needs to be done, and you and Tom please take care and know this medium and the Church are both more hopeful, honest mediums for having June in their midst.

  13. David, whiteycat, and KJ (you nice boy), thank you for your lovely words. We'll muddle along with God's help, having good days and not-so-good days. You can't know what the prayers and concern of friends like you mean to us.
