President Obama and Bo - BFF
"How could you?"
I love Bo's white boots.

  1. I doubt Bo is saying "How could you?", Mimi. Given my own experience with PWDs, I would be willing to guess that he's just counting the seconds until he can run and jump in the photographer's lap......

    1. Ah well, you should know, Doxy. One site had a raft of pictures of Bo with the family. In one photo, Obama was lying down on the lawn, and Bo was licking his face. The Obama family is a breath of fresh air.

  2. Bo does not need the fake ears to be very sweet :)

    1. Bo is adorable. He reminds me of a toy dog on wheels that I had as a child.

    2. Your toy dawgie sounds sweet, Mimi, did he have a name? ... Meanwhile, Bo's white booties, which look at first glance to be something the Obamas forced him to wear, appear at second glance to be all his own. Ha ha, how kewt!! :)

    3. The doggie had a name on his tag, which I decided to keep. He was a boy, and I think of Binky, but I don't believe that's right. He had a lead, and I could pretend that I was walking a real dog as he wheeled along behind me. I was very young, which is probably why my memory is so fuzzy.

  3. I love dogs, and Bo is quite a character! Seeing him doing his scene stealing with Michelle Obama when she read Twas the Night Before Christmas was great. Don't feel sorry for him in the bunny ears...he gets back by the alp dog antics! :-)

    1. Bo, the lapdog. That was too funny. In all the action pictures, Bo gives the family a good run when he's on a lead.

  4. You know the Prez, Michelle and Bo greeted White House tourists (much to the latter's surprise) yesterday? Rachel Maddow described Bo as having on his "Portuguese Water Dog tuxedo". Too Kewt!

    1. What a delight that must have been for the tourists. Bo's boots could also be Cajun Reeboks!
