I'd stayed twice at Brasenose College many years ago during study tours, so I was familiar with the Sheldonian, the Camera, St Mary the Virgin, and that area of the university.June Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01723016934182800437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2174812066017196444.post-18558528131270321172013-12-05T17:36:57.135-06:002013-12-05T17:36:57.135-06:00Thanks for this post. These photos bring back the memories. I'm not sure I ever saw the secret garden, though. I'm sure much has changed much since my time there, but I loved Oxford. Back in the day, you could freely wander through all of the colleges with nary as much as a sign-in. One of my favorite things was to visit college chapels.Prairie Soulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03467436724804113877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2174812066017196444.post-8872879101207587562013-11-27T17:39:54.197-06:002013-11-27T17:39:54.197-06:00Russ, I thought the same.Russ, I thought the same.June Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01723016934182800437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2174812066017196444.post-40739550657726606642013-11-27T15:43:17.921-06:002013-11-27T15:43:17.921-06:00A private breakfast in that lovely old hall, what ...A private breakfast in that lovely old hall, what a treat. Murders happen in the Church 0f St. Frideswide right in Oxford. Bet U would enjoy it, although this copy from our library looks exhausted and worn. nijNijhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02429614661154565627noreply@blogger.com
