Roseann - Believe The Unbelievable

Dear Mimi,

I just spoke with Roseann, and she told me the tumor in the stomach is benign, and the doctors now believe her problems are caused by anxiety, and plan to treat her accordingly. She did use a sleeping pill last night and finally got some sleep. However this morning after her shower (which is not in her room) she fell in the hallway in front of a bunch of nurses, and now has a compression fracture of the hip. She is in excruciating pain. What more can go wrong??

She asked me to pass on the news.

Blessings to the OCICBW bloggers for all of their attention.

Sue

Thanks be to God that the tumor is benign. May Roseann's pain from the fracture of her hip and from the anxiety ease. Lord, have mercy!

  1. Poor Roseann. I can't believe they weren't watching her better than that. She hasn't eaten in several days, she has to be weak. But, otherwise, the rest is great news. Now if only they could find a kidney! Continued prayers.

  2. The aide should have been walking with her! No food and a sleeping pill go together to cause dizziness!!

More prayers for her hip. Glad to hear that the tumor is benign.

  5. Almighty God and Heavenly Father, we give you humble thanks because you have been graciously pleased to deliver from their illnesses your servants, Roseann and Doxy in whose behalf we give you thanks and praise. Grant, O Gracious Father, that they, through your help, may live in this world according to your will and also be partakers of everlasting glory in the life to come. AMEN.

Now, there's just the hip, but that's nothing compared to the tumor's being benign!

  7. Don't they have walking frames? And how can there have been a "bunch of nurses" and no-one to walk with her?

But what good news about the tumour, that is such a relief!

More hugs and prayers for Roseanne

  8. This just proves my theory that a hospital is no place for sick people! I hope that things will turn better soon.
