A COUPLE OF VISUALS TO MAKE YOU HAPPY

Good news, indeed, after the bad news yesterday of the evisceration of the Voting Rights Act ruling by the Supremes.

  1. They make me very happy.

On the demolition of the VRA, I agree with Judge Ginsberg that "the Supreme Court had erred egregiously."

  2. Thank you Mimi for leading the way (all along) as LGBT people have insisted on being set FREE from prejudice and discrimination! Free from a sickly secondclass human pedigree! Lot's of love from a guy weeping in Guatemala (at the foot of the volcano where the sun is shining)!

    Pure joy.

    1. Great news, Len. I'm happy for you and all my LGTB friends and allies. I didn't lead the way, but TBTG I finally woke up.

    2. And so too moved to tears! And also, didn't lead the way but God gives you a real reality check when he gifts you a gay child.

    3. A wake-up call, indeed, Bonnie. I thank my dear departed sister, Gayle, for my education. The reaction against Bishop Gene helped, as it showed me I surely did not want to be on the side of folks who enjoy peeping into the bedrooms of other people.

    4. Yes, so thankful for all the people who helped on the journey. My husband was a huge support. The Episcopal Church was a huge support--many courageous voices.

As for people who enjoy peeping. So pathetic that they don't have a bedroom of their own to peep in.

    5. All well and good but effectively masking the enormity of the way in which they gutted the Voting Rights Act one day earlier.

    6. Lapin, I'm still depressed about that idiotic decision.

  3. TBTG! :-D
