We are evacuating in a few minutes. Yes, we changed our minds.
Thanks to all of you. I'm quite touched by the kind response of all of you whom I have come to know in real life and virtual life. That so many of you care and are concerned and are holding us in the light and in prayer is quite moving and means more to me than you can ever know. I cry when I read over the many lovely words.
I'll be in touch as soon as I can. God bless you all!
Much love,
Mimi
Lifting up prayers for your continued safety.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
ReplyDeleteI've been off the blogs for quite a while and just now came to check on you. Oh, dear Mimi! Prayers for you and all you love.
ReplyDeleteGod be with you 'till we meet again....
ReplyDeleteuntil you get back on line.

ReplyDeletePrayers in abundance!
Take care of Grandpere, and yourself, and come back to us safe and well.
ReplyDeleteIf you can, stay in touch.
Thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to everyone affected by Gustav.
Dearest Grandemere,
ReplyDeleteYou, your Best Beloved, your family, and all the the denizens of NOLA are in our thoughts right now. We pray for your safety and that when you return you find all of your possessions safe and sound and that
"All will be well.
All will be well.
All manner of thing will be well."
Grendel wants to know if you have enough gravy.
Stay safe.
Love, Avie
I've very glad to read that you're leaving now. I just came home from doing chores at the new house and see that they've upped the ante and are predicting Gustav to reach Category 5.

ReplyDeleteMay God bless and keep you safe.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, Mimi!
ReplyDeleteDRIVE carefully, the world is full of nutbags (even though most of them are busy now trying to make spinsense out of the McCain Camplain)!
ReplyDeleteRemember, stay away from the windows!
Many prayers ascending!
ReplyDeleteAs you rejoiced when I got safely out of town, Mimi, so I rejoice to hear that you are heading out - and, having read Fran's update, that you are safely arriven. Now stay safe and dry and be at peace.
ReplyDeleteIf only we could say, "Peace, be still!" and the storm were over, but I guess we can always pray for the peace of Christ, and I pray that for you and all of those in the path of the storm.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. I am so sorry.
