Jane R. Will Be Famous!

Our dear friend, Jane Redmont (as we all now know) from Acts of Hope wrote a book. And it was published. Yes, that's true. She's quite a learned woman, and yet she deigns to visit and leave comments at this humble blog. One day, I hope to meet Jane in real life, but for now, we are virtual friends. She is already famous amongst her friends, but now the world will know her and love her as much as we do.

I have pre-ordered her book, so it should arrive any day now. The cover is lovely, and I can't wait to see what's inside. I encourage you to purchase or order from your friendly local bookstore, but however you buy it - just buy it. Once I've read When In Doubt, Sing, I shall tell all. I done art reviews, opera reviews, movie reviews, why not book reviews?

  1. Mimi, you are sweet, thank you. I am off to Chicago and will lift a glass to the blogging community at the book party. All y'all are in the Acknowledgments (to this new edition) - I couldn't put everyone in there for fear of forgetting someone (also our crowd is fluid and more join every day, and occasionally someone leaves - I miss Simple Village Organist, who seems to have dropped off the face of the earth) so I thanked the community and said "you know who you are." ;-)

The link to Acts of Hope doesn't seem to be working.

Looking forward to your Mimi-tells-all review!

  2. Jane, not mentioned by name! Why did I bother with this post? I thought there was a mutual arrangement....
