Rick, if I wanted to have a pope, I would consider Pius XIII. The site brought back fond memories of the true Catholic Church practices which assured salvation (but not quite), such as the Nine First Fridays, the Five First Saturdays, and the wearing of the Brown Scapular. And, of course, there were the visits on foot to nine churches on Good Friday, the wearing of the Miraculous Medal, AND the Plenary Indulgence.
Another plus in his favor is that he lives right here in the US.
