Cheney - The Prophet
If you don't believe that Dick Cheney is a prophet, then watch this video of an interview conducted a few years after the first Gulf War, on 4-15-94, and listen to what he says.
Got to admit that it's an amazingly clear-sighted analysis.
ReplyDeleteHis question "how many additional dead Americans was Saddam worth?" and the answer "Not very many" leaves one utterly speechless.
ReplyDeleteHe even uses the "q" word.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder if they remember or believe anything they say in press interviews.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind, Mimi, I'm posting this on my blog too.
Cynthia, please do. The more folks who see this, the better.
ReplyDeleteI have it on my blog, too--now that I've returned back to hot and humid Texas, which is HOME.
ReplyDeleteJan, da more, da merrier, but it's not really merry. The Bushies seem to be able to erase from memory their statements from the past quite easily.
ReplyDeleteDid y'all see his "biographer" on The Daily Show explain away all these statements? The reason? They were made "pre 9/11."
ReplyDeleteOh, so that explains it.
LJ, that's right. After all, 9/11 changed everything, even history.
ReplyDeleteNo matter that Iraq didn't attack us.
