That's a lovely bit 'o poetry Grandmere Mimi. Do report back. And should you get a minute alone with the less famous Rowan do try to woof some sense into him.
Add a few more words and you can sing it to "Sunshine Cake", can't you? Thought we're probably the only ones round here who remember that hit. Bing Crosby?)

ReplyDeleteclumber concurs with rowan the dog...
Mimi, dear
ReplyDeleteyou know I love you, but honesty calls for an "or what" in this case.
I'm so looking forward to your reports from the mucky muck confab.
I didn't get near the ABC, nor Bishop Katharine, but it was a very nice service. I wanted to cheer when Bishop Katharine processed by, but I didn't.
ReplyDeleteRowan and Clumber, I did let out a bark, but I'm not sure the other Rowan understood, since it was an American style bark.
"Or what" what, Johnieb? Isn't that what I have?
The ABC's hair (head and facial) was neater and more trimmed looking than in some pictures I've seen.
I think I'm going to go for "what."
ReplyDeleteGrandmere- you never fail to bring a smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteOK, Johnieb, I get it now. You don't think it's genius poetry. That's certainly your prerogative, my friend.
ReplyDeleteDear Grandmère,
ReplyDeleteIf you had gotten a chance to meet him, I wrote a bit of verse for you:
So nice to meet you ABC.
The very one I came to see.
Do you read the Blog of our MP?
If so, I am Grandmère Mimi!

ReplyDeleteBoocat, that's a genius poem too.

Lapin, my muse isn't visiting today.
Boocat, you can run with it if you'd like.
