No Anonymous Comments

For now, I'm allowing only folks registered with Blogger to comment, because I'm being annoyed by anonymous comments. For a couple of you who do comment as anonymous and then sign your names, I'm sorry. I'll try turning the block off in a few days.

  2. Yes, Mimi. What sort of idiocy are you protecting us from?

  3. Do you have a troll? I had one but I think for the moment I got rid of it.

Such is the world of the internets.

If you want to go see Grandmere, you need ID to get in!

  4. I'm getting comments like, "Brilliant" or "Like post", from someone who is not a native English speaker, but who then leaves a link to sell - yes - the SOS, Viagra or Cialis.

  5. Mimi, your last post was brilliant. Unfortunately, I have nothing to sell today.

  6. Paul (a) may not have anything to sell, but he will take whatever Viagra Grandpere may have left over. Failing that, he'll settle for bourbon.

  7. Paul, who knows? I may need to buy your services one day. I know what you do.

    Elizabeth, bourbon is a depressant!

  8. I'm sorry to hear about your problems. Do you have a troll?

  9. Diane, I don't know if he/she is a troll, but the pharmaceutical sales pitches were certainly unwelcome.

  10. Someone has a search function looking for certain words through the inter tubes. Then automatically they send a stupid comment made up by the search program with a link to them! At least I think that's the way it works, Mimi. Never Anonymous again...

  11. Susan, welcome to the club. When will Princess Ida begin posting?

  12. I am afraid I am a Princess of very little brain! Nothing as deep as appears here ever occurs to me until I have read it elsewhere! And I find many of my comments look much worse after they are posted! I need to think a lot more before I comment.

  13. Susan, that is simply not true. I love your comments.

You know when I put up my faux blog, I had no intention of blogging. But there was that blank screen....

  14. Blank screen....blank brain....just not tempted now. Hell, I can't even figure out how to make a blog roll. All I know is there isn't a recipe for it!

  15. Grandmere do what you must, but if your post lasts for 4 hours or more, please seek medical assistance.
