Fr. Tony Clavier, an Episcopal priest from West Virginia, is undergoing serious and extensive lung surgery today. He and his family need your prayers.
UPDATE: The surgery on Fr. Clavier was successfully completed. You can keep up with his progress at the family website.
Fr. Clavier's son Mark, also an Episcopal priest, posted on a similar thread at StandFirm that "He was alert enough earlier today to give a thumbs up and smile when I told him that Stand Firm is praying for him. I teased him that he is the only man in TEC who has people praying fervently from the entire spectrum of modern day Anglicanism!"
ReplyDeleteThis is true. Fr. Clavier deserves our prayers. Also he's a Yorkshireman.
The entire spectrum?
ReplyDeleteAnd, then he's a Yorkshireman?
Lord, hear our prayers.
He gave a rather pleasing meditation on the Anglican tradition to the Clergy Association of Pittsburgh just a month ago.
