passing this on.

I cannot find the link to the live broadcast at the NPR site. Check the schedule of your local NPR stations for the broadcast time in your area.

BBC4 will also broadcast live on radio, which you can access from their internet site.

Sirius on Channel 141 and XM on Channel 131 will broadcast live on satellite radio.

  1. We listen to it every year on the NPR station here, Mimi. Ed prints out the service bulletin from King's website and we follow along with it.

We always hold our breath for the boy chosen to do the opening solo. They don't know who's going to sing it until the moment arrives and the director points at the chosen one.

  2. That must be exciting, especially for the boy who is chosen. And they all have to know the part.

  3. My partner heard it and said she cried as she was driving - that it was so beautiful.

  4. It was, and always is, incredibly beautiful. I was baking while the radio was on. Those Chocolate Sparkle Cookies (recipe previously posted at Jake's many moons ago for one of those recipe fillers) were better than ever this year. Must have been the music.

  5. It was gorgeous.

A good many years ago, I attended Evensong at King's College Chapel, and that was lovely, too. To be in that exquisite building hearing the angelic singing was glorious.
