Johnieb Has A Blog!

Our virtual and real life friend (we met in New York) and long time commenter, Johnieb, has BEGUN TO BLOG! He's a little crazy, but aren't we all? He has a lovely story about participating in a civil-rights march organized by Martin Luther King. Please check in over at Here Still Running and read it. In person, Johnieb is absolutely charming and brilliant. He's originally from the South, you know.

  2. Out to lunch with lunchmeat! Yummy! My favorite sandwich when I was growing up was lunchmeat and chow-chow.

  3. Tsk, how parochial of you, Mad Priest; it's a sort of relish.

Thanks, dear Mimi, and BTW, I just finished another King post (maybe more a "me" post) after reading Jane R's link to the riverside church sermon of April 4th, 1967.

Is this blog whoring? It's fun!

And, BTW, Mad One, what's this "little Crazy"? U S government certified 100% whacko, dadgumit! I make the Mid-East Regionals every bloomin' year!

  5. Johnieb, I was low-keying the craziness for newcomers to your blog.

Ah, yes the poor, parochial Novocastrian, known as MadPriest, doesn't even know chow-chow.

DP, absolutely. I'll bet you know what chow-chow is.

  6. My mama maid chow-chow, though Missouri is as close as she got to the South.

We're all odd or we wouldn't be blogging. Hooray for the crazies!

What was it Weezy said in Steel Magnolias? I'm not crazy; I've just been in an extremely bad mood for thirty years. Or something like that.

  7. Paul, I'll bet your mama's homemade chow-chow was better than the stuff that came out of the jar from the store. I'm sure I would have loved it.

Now I am forced to go to OCICBW to find JohnieB.

Which of course, I will but only under duress!
