"Walkin' To New Orleans"

Today I will be in New Orleans to meet Kirstin, pictured above, who is working on a project there. Her blog is Barefoot and Laughing. I am soooo looking forward to getting together with Kirstin.

It's time I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm going to need two pair of shoes
When I get through walkin' to you
When I get back to New Orleans

I'm not really walkin', as Fats did, but I'm headin' there.

  1. Beware, Grandmère! There are a lot of whackoes in the blogosphere and things may not be as they seem (Just look at her scary eyes!). For instance, you seem to doubt my genuineness and niceness. Go figure!

Oh, and have a nice day.

  2. I will pray for the people of Louisiana today. May the holy angels defend them.

  5. Really. Y'all have a great time. Please try to make the Krewe du Vieux parade which rolls on Saturday, through the Marigny then through the French Quarters then back to the Marighny for the Ball.

  7. Dennis, I'm glad you surfaced again. I was beginning to worry.

KJ, she's quite nice and (as far as I can tell) quite harmless.

Paul, you had the right idea, but you didn't pray hard enough. We had a drama at the end of our visit to New Orleans.

Ann, we did have a fun day, in spite of the drama.

New Orleans Ladder, I wish I could go to the parade on Saturday, but I can't. Maybe next year.

Diane, Kirstin is doing good work.
