After The "Debate" - Obama's Speech Today

Now that's excellent. He is an amazingly good speechmaker. To me, that's the perfect response to ABC and its moderators.

It's been a long time since I could trust a politician, and I'm not at that point yet, but Obama is quite appealing. I want the deeds to be as good as the words, and if he's elected I pray they will be.

Thanks to Paul at Byzigenous Buddhapalian for calling the video to my attention.

  1. That's definitely an enjoyable clip. It's good to see him relaxed and using that wretched debate to connect Hillary to old style politics.

  2. Must admit, from this distance and only intermittent observance of what's going on, I'd be inclined to vote for him. He does seem to have an integrity in what he says and does, and I always find integrity a pleasing trait.

  3. That is a great clip and I like the notion that I can choose to be hopeful in the face of so much negativity.

I have been lukewarm to him at best, but slowly it changes. Despite what may seem an impetuous nature, I am really rather pragmatic in matters of faith, love and politics.

  4. Nothing against Obama; I trust no politicians, especially if they want to be President. I just try to find the one with whom I am in the most agreement and remember that whoever that might be, he/she is not Jesus or Mimi.

  5. I am definitely on his side, but I remain skeptical until I see actions. He does have the ability to inspire hope, which we are in great need of today.

KJ, love, that is sweet, but I have my moments, too. Better stick with Jesus.
