  2. What I heard immediately following this episode was that all Samaritans were prohibited from doing any further good works until the Disciples and Apostles gathered to create a document under which any good Samaritan could perform acts of mercy and until the Apostles had gathered to determine whether Samaritans were worthy of doing good works, within thecontext of a new and improvement covenant of coursee

  3. So, what do you have against Samaritans? I mean, the very fact that you're posting this means that Samaritans are an issue for you.

Are there any Samaritans left anywhere?

  4. I make no claims to be PC. In fact, this is a PC-free zone (within limits!).

  5. This is why pastors and priests give sermons in a context where no one can talk back.

    We've learned, you see....

  6. Rmj, so then, you'd rather not have a conversational sermon.

  8. Very funny indeed, and it does demonstrate the dangers of conversational sermons. And children's sermons where they might say anything at any moment. All of which is good for clergy who think they are in control.
