Congratulations To Erika And Her Beloved!

Erika and her beloved partner tied the knot in a civil partnership in Merrie Olde England. Erika, may you and your beloved have many blessed and happy years together.

I offer you the Priestly Blessing:

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

From a humble member of the priesthood of all believers.

  1. Oh Erika, how wonderful! I saw that this was coming up and am so glad Mimi is spreading the word.

    While authorized to do public blessings in the name of the Church (and God, how presumptuous), I prefer to claim my status as one of the baptized and even more basically as a fellow human being to wish you every happiness as you and your beloved move into a new phase of your relationship. All the best.

    Love,
    Pablito

  3. Between this, Pagan Sphinx's daughter's wedding, and another wedding of some board friends of mine (also in San Francisco this week), there's just so much LOVE goin' around. God bless it! :-D

    [Sigh. Hope I catch it---as a figurative bouquet?---too. ;-/]

  5. May you always love and laugh in sunshine. May the years lead you together to ever more joy. May you always have luck in the shadows.

    A blessing prayer from an old Rom.
