Thank you so much for putting up blog notices for me. Getting emails and comments and prayers is such a wonderful gift. I also enjoyed the interview with The Huffington Post.
I feel sad about what is going on over at the Mad One's. Partly because I don't really know and that is okay. There is a certain amount of protection from being up on morphine and in the ICU. I was able to focus on happy things like our president elect.
I remember one thread that was very America and the American South is all racist and it making me kind of ill. I get very tired of being painted with the broad brush.
I'm doing what I can to help some young people get to DC for the inaugural festivities. I made friends with a nurse in the ICU who has 3 sons; 16, 15 and 9. She is a member of an AME church and I'm affiliated with our cathedral parish. We're going to try to get her sons and a couple of kids here in Little Rock to go to the Inauguration together and make a video documentary, an oral history of the occasion. Then they can come back together and share their work and experiences with all the kids who won't get to go. My resources of energy are very limited so they will have to pick this up and run with it.
Blessings and love to you, Roseann
I tried to email this but it wouldn't go through :-(
Roseann, I was happy to be of service in keeping folks informed about you. You are very brave. My prayers for you continue.
I thought Georgianne did quite well by me. Anyone who knows me would recognize me from her story, even without the pictures.
You're probably better off not knowing the whole story at MP's.
The project you're helping with sounds worthy to me. I hope the kids get to go to the inauguration and make their documentary. What a wonderful historic occasion that will be.
Take good care of yourself. I'm sorry about the email. Most of them seem to get through.

It took me a minute to get this.
ReplyDeleteLindy, me too. I had to explain it to Grandpère.
ReplyDelete:D
ReplyDeletePJ, now we know. Thanks for sending this. Everyone, take note. It wasn't really Doug.
ReplyDeleteROTFLMAO! heh, heh
ReplyDelete::catches breath:: good one ;)
*LOL* (Took me half a sec, too. "Mommy" needs ta-tas, for it to be OBVIOUS!)
ReplyDeleteOf course, if Mommy worked where we thought she worked (minus the caption), she probably would be a HECK of a lot better paid...
