Thought For The Day From Gandhi

My friend, Georgianne, always ends her email messages with this quote from Gandhi:

“Everything you do will be meaningless, but you must do it.”

  1. Indeed!

(But where's your "O" for the day? I can't find it and can't post until you enlighten us.)

  2. Scott, my "O" is O Virgo Virginum, but I have no music. I used the Anglican Sarum tradition, which adds the extra "O", but I couldn't find the sung chant for it. Next year, I'll use the same schedule as everyone else, so I'll be in step.

    Margaret, wonderful words, aren't they?

  3. Hrmm. Just googled and found out that "O Emmanuel" is today's, not yesterday's. I may just let it stand and take a break this evening.

  4. Oh, poo, Grandmère - don't be all boring and Roman like the rest - stick to Sarum!

  5. BillyD, folks kept telling me that I was off by a day. I got tired of explaining. I believe it was Lapin who put me on to the Sarum use.

  6. Everything I've done is pretty much meaningless too, but I did it.
