Story Of The Day - Best Of Times

I'd like to leave you with something
valuable, she said. You probably already
have, I said, but we take most of our
lives to remember that, even in the best
of times

From StoryPeople.

I love "Story of the Day". I post the little stories probably only for Ann and me, and Ann gets them by email, too, so I suppose they're just for me. Anyway....

  3. I really look forward to them, Mimi! My BFF gave me Story People paintings at two critical points in my life, so I have a special fondness for them...

  6. I read my first one right here a few weeks ago and promptly signed up for the daily email. As soon as I saw this one, I KNEW I could trust you to post it and give me a double dose of enjoyment.

This one reminds me so much of how I feel about the loss of my mom 10 years ago. There is hardly a week that goes by that some seemingly insignificant memory of my past, takes on new resonance in the context of my present life. If only I had known...

  7. Suzi, I feel that way about my sister. She was my best friend.

I'm glad that you had a double dose of pleasure.
