Hunting

We went hunting over the weekend and killed these two plus three smaller ones.



I can't remember how many shots it took, but it was a lot.

    Göran, Doug is beyond incorrigible. You should see what he sends me that I don't post on my blog.

    Rick, in truth, I hate guns, and yet I live in a family of men who hunt, and I eat the game and enjoy it. Quite the paradox, no?

    Dear Grandmère,

         Actually, I'm laissez faire about hunting too (I was raised in Nevada, after all). I just deplore the NRA's attitude that guns of any kind should permeate our society and be allowed in any venue.

    P.S. - Notice how I oh-so-cleverly worked in the French for you!

    Rick, I love the French.

    On occasion, Grandpère gets a membership offer from the NRA, and I mail the postage paid envelope back to them with a "no thank" note in it.
