  1. KJ, this is one of the best, I think.

  2. Oh, KJ, I was planning to swipe it for a little trip to FB myself. I dare say, for many pew dwellers as well as some of their clergy, they probably are more concerned with the more mundane aspects of parish life than the drama that is currently unfolding on the international stage of the World-wide Anglican Communion. Sad, perhaps, but true nontheless.

  3. I know what Fr. Montgomery means in regard to these matters. It really bothers me to see the candles in our candle stands shaped like this ^ be out of alignment. When the second candle is shorter than the first, I fret all thru the service
There is a further question. Are the candlesticks brass or gold, or maybe even silver? I'm certain that is another issue that needs to be covered in the Anglican Covenant before it is truly voted on by many Dioceses in the CofE and even TEC.

  4. BooCat and Susan, you jest, but you speak truth, as does Fr Montgomery.

  5. You see! You're the kind of people who made my life miserable for the 8 years I was in the Altar Guild. I simply couldn't get it right enough. :-)
