Doxy, a good, quick retort. I usually think of the clever put-down after the other person is long gone.The story reminds me of St. Augustine of Hippo's prayer, "Lord, give me chastity, but not yet!"
I remember that one because it's probably the only time in my entire life that I was able to come up with the right thing at the right time. ;-)
