Theme, thank you. I'll check out your suggestions.I played the ukulele when I was a teenager, but not like that. All my friends played, too. It was the thing. We strummed chords as accompaniment to folk songs.

I watched the two videos Theme suggested. They are excellent. I realized right away that I had seen the English group before.
