JCF, I believe LSU will be in the playoffs. I don't follow football, but Grandpère and others around here were so excited that I couldn't help but catch some of their enthusiasm.

[FYI: NCAA Football doesn't have playoffs. Hence, we're at the mercy of the byzantine magisterium known as the "BCS", who picks which teams play in which (major) bowls, including which 2 teams get to play for the National Championship. But yes, as things stand TODAY, LSU would be in that championship bowl game! Stanford is going to need some help to get there. Oklahoma State losing would be major...]
