GOTTA LOVE SENIORS

During a visit to my doctor, I asked him, "How do you determine whether or not an older person should be put in an old age home?"

"Well," he said, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the person to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," I said.. "A normal person would use the bucket because it is bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No" he said. "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

A short neurological test

1- Find the C below.. Please do not use any cursor help.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

2- If you already found the C, now find the 6 below.

9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

3 - Now find the N below. It's a little more difficult.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMNMM
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

This is NOT a joke.. If you were able to pass these 3 tests, you can cancel your annual visit to your neurologist. Your brain is great and you're far from having a close relationship with Alzheimer.

Congratulations!

Thanks or blame to Ann.

  1. I can't see how finding the letters means that you must be okay :( I keep feeling there must be some other hidden test behind the tests.

  2. Cathy, I guarantee nothing. After all, this is Wounded Bird, not WebMD.

  3. I passed all three too, or perhaps that should be three two, but I'm still suspicious :)

  4. Finding the C was the most difficult for me.

  5. I had no great trouble with any of them but looking for typos is part of my job so I'm quite quick at picking them (usually).

  6. I found them all, but the c was the hardest. I had to scan 3 times before I found it.

I'm glad I found it. I often wonder if I will still have my wits about me till I die.

Actually I think these robot words below may prove more about my abilities than finding the letters!

susan, that is a brilliant observation! As long as you can type the WV after 4 or 5 tries, you do not need to see a neurologist.

    Psychiatrist, maybe.

  9. Paul (A.), yes, I'll definitely be in need of a psychiatrist if the WV glitch continues to annoy.
