The Vatican and the RC bishops here in the US, with their cries of persecution because health insurance plans must provide contraceptives, are the persons I had in mind. Then too, the two archbishops in the CofE seem to be taking lessons from Rome.
ReplyDeleteI would have guessed you meant the archbishops myself, Mimi, so, I suppose I was wrong. In fact though the large number of people in positions of authority to whom this story could be applied is really rather depressing.
