STORY OF THE DAY - OLD CAT
Sometimes I think I'm going to end up
all alone in a cold apartment living on
cat food from a can but I guess that's not
so bad since I'm a cat after all.
I read your title as being about a day-old cat. Reminds me of the old Tennessee paper, The News-Free Press. (The name was changed in 1993 to The Chattanooga Free Press.)
Murdoch, you gave me a laugh, well, two laughs. One at your misreading (which I see is quite easy to do) and the other at the newspaper with no news. At least they were honest, unlike the many news-free papers around today.
Remember: even if the story was about a day-old cat, the cat might eventually end up old in a cold apartment, eating cat food from a can. ;-)

How would the cat open the can? ... Just askin' :)
ReplyDeleteCathy, the stories of the day are whimsical and sometimes true, but not necessarily logical. Does that make any sense?
