BREAKING: OBAMA BORN IN HAWAII

Krazy Ken Bennett, Secretary of State in Arizona, received verification that Obama was honestly, really, truly, positively born in Hawaii and will place his name on the ballot.
Hawaii State Registrar Alvin Onaka sent the document Tuesday confirming the information on Obama's birth certificate, such as the Honolulu hospital where he was born and the names and ages of his parents.
Well, Bennett may be satisfied, but will the doubts of the Birthers be allayed?  Of  course not!   You see, the conspiracy is so vast that the Hawaiian authorities are in on it.

  1. And the conspiracy now obviously involves the Arizona authorities as well.....

  2. Good catch, kishnevi.

As I said on Facebook, the Birthers are unbelievable. I won't believe they exist until they send me certified copies of their birth certificates.

  3. Maybe they were all born outside the US, like the biggest birther of all, Orly Taitzs(or however she spells her name)

  4. Hmm.. wonder if I could see Joe Arpaio's birth certificate? Jan Brewer's? Ken Bennett's?

Or do aliens from Planet Mingo have certified birth certificates?

  5. The fact is that Arizona has NOT checked Mitt Romney's birth certificate. Why not? It is an interesting omission.

Here they go to the extent of asking a state to confirm a birth certificate for Obama and they do not even want to see Mitt Romney's birth certificate.

Romney has not published his birth certificate, and as a result we have only his word that he was born in Michigan.

Why doesn't Arizona treat every candidate fairly and, in the process, do its job of vetting whether all candidates are eligible? Why has it not even occurred to the Secretary of State of Arizona that if it is possible for Obama to have been born outside of the USA, it is just as possible for Romney to have been born outside of the USA?

  6. @Anonymous...Hmmmm, now what could be a big difference between the two that would cause Mr. Bennett not to consider that possibility?

  7. Why, why, why? Many questions, but no answers.

Sheriff Arpaio is still not satisfied.

In a major development in his probe of Barack Obama's eligibility for Arizona's 2012 presidential ballot, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has dispatched his lead Cold Case Posse investigator and a deputy detective to Hawaii.

  8. They must be working on the theory that if u tell a lie enough times, it will be true! Honestly, I think that our country has more than its share of nuts!

  9. The birther red herring is an indication, not only of racism, but of the unwillingness of many on the right to focus on what matters in this election.

  10. Nij, known as the putting-facts-on-the ground strategy. Say something is true enough times, and - voilà! - it will be true.

Daniel, yes, as I told one of the Birthers on Facebook, just be honest and say you don't like Obama because he is black. To some Obama will always be an illegitimate president, because they simply cannot wrap their heads around the reality that we have a black president.

And I think you're correct that many on the right do not wish to engage with the issues, because, on the issues, they lose.

  11. Dang. Arpaio sends minyons to Hawaii on a wild goose chase and I can only make it as far as Scottsdale (about 35 miles from home) once a year.

I wonder -- can we demand to see their credit card bills when they get back?

  12. Linda, someone in Arizona should launch an inquiry.

BTW, on Facebook, we concluded that there actually are pockets of sane people spread around in Arizona. I thought you'd like to know. ;-)

  13. Mormon is obviously interchangeable with Moslem and Mitt Romney's name is an anagram of Mitten Mr Yo, which sounds foreign, possibly a Bond villain, or villainess, so, the only possible logical conclusion is that he's not from the US either.

  14. Romney's father was born in Mexico, which makes Mitt Mexican, right? That and your anagram prove that Mitt is not a real American.
