WE ARE ALL SO PROUD

The bright and good-looking lad pictured above, my grandson Bryan, will graduate from high school tonight.  His Mom, Dad, Gramdpère, and Gramdmère are very proud of him.

Congratulations and blessings, Bryan!

That's Gino looking adoringly at Bryan.

PS: I'm sure his brothers are proud, too.

  3. Thanks, margaret and Penny. Bryan's the second of my grandchildren to graduate. He will join his cousin, Joey, at LSU.

  8. Thanks, my friends. Bryan looked splendid in his tuxedo last night. I seemed to be the only person present who knew how to put on cuff links and studs, so I helped him finish dressing.

All went well at the graduation. We sat in the nosebleed section of the convention center, because we did not want to go early and sit for two hours or longer before the ceremony started. The graduates on the stage were so far away from us that I could not find Bryan before his name was called, and I did not get a photo of him receiving his diploma. Perhaps my daughter did, and there was a photographer in front taking pictures of each graduate.

Two down, and four grandchildren to go to complete high school, with the youngest at 12 years of age. Their births seem so recent...only a few years ago.

  10. I love the picture, too. I turned it to sepia, because the colors were not right. A Facebook friend said that Bryan looked like the picture on the book jacket of The Great Gatsby, and I agree. Bryan would look right at home at a party on Gatsby's vast terrace.
