Remember how in the olden days the photographer set the camera and stepped to the side to act funny to make children smile as he snapped the picture? I must not have thought he was funny.
I knew it had to be you! because this child looks amused or perhaps bemused at the antics of the photographer? Is she perhaps formulating an ironic comment?

DeleteIf I ever asked my mother the color of the pinafore, I don't remember the answer. I don't think it's white, so it could be any one of the pastels.
