Faith is now quite uncertain. I'm no longer acting-as-if.

NAG, NAG, NAG
Fellas, I know some of you Mr Fix-its get right to the job, and I don't mean you. I do the job myself if I can. In fact, I am generally the handyperson around the house, but I live the message on the sign if the job is beyond me.
We used to have THE JOB JAR. What I couldn't do would be written on a piece of paper and put in the THE JOB JAR! Instead of the nag I would just periodically hand Ed the job jar. Did he appreciate this? No. Now how ungracious/ungratful was that? It was not only a free nag, it was a silent one too.

ReplyDeleteBonnie, I think there's a lot to be said for a silent nag.
DeleteI find it almost impossible not to remind husband of outstanding tasks on his 'list' !!! :os
ReplyDeleteAllie, I actually do stay silent for long stretches, because I don't enjoy nagging.
