    1. I wanted to post the whole poem, but I try to respect copyright. It seems to me cummings' poetry ought to be off copyright soon.

  2. Very nice! I do mostly love e. e. BUT right now I am trying to wade my way through AnOther E. E. Cummings. The chapter on Language Experiments is really hard going.

Here is one of the easier ones (at least for me).

I have found that typing them out or writing them out first gives me a better sense of them when I then try to read them aloud.

Hope everyone had a nice Halloween. Thanks for the sweet doggie on the pumpkin.

    1. Bonnie, there's an "e" that I can't place in a word.

Actually, I didn't do a thing Halloweenish, except reread "Christabel" by Coleridge, which sort of fits, with the snake and spirits in the air, some of them evilish.

  3. It's "where no one" I didn't get it until the third try and only because I typed it through. Some of these take me forEVER to break down.

I have some Coleridge in a few anthologies but no complete volume of his work. I went looking but don't have Christabel. Now see what you did. I have a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble and I will be forced (kidding) to make a trip over there very soon.

    2. I embarrassed my teacher and my classmates (and myself) when we read the poem in high school, but that's a long story for another time.

    1. Bex, I love the photo, the leaves of all colors, the bright orange pumpkin, but most of all the Puppy.

    1. Ciss, I thought about trying to get my Diana to pose with a pumpkin, but I realized it would probably be an exercise in futility. Besides, even I must admit Diana is not as cute as the puppy.
