a kid here, who upon discovering that his shoes were on the wrong feet, looked at them and said, "look, my shoes are fighting" --I would love to know what he really meant!
And, I'm sure your feet are more often right than wrong... just sayin'.
Just before the slippers, there used to be a story about a faithful Italian dog, which now is not there as if it had never been. Had comments and everything. False memory?
Maw, stay cool! You had other things on your mind :>)

Oh gee, I meant Naw, not maw! Oops!

Neither my shoes nor my feet were fighting the wrongness. I wonder, too, what the kid meant.
DeleteYou know what Thomas Merton said about the way our feet take us: So long as we try to please God, we please God. :-)
Don't feel bad, Mimi. One day at church, I looked down and realized I was wearing two different shoes!
ReplyDeleteMy best friend in college did that one morning as she rushed to get dressed for her 7:00am class. :-)

ReplyDeleteMurdoch, I didn't post about a faithful Italian dog recently, if ever.
