What's This?

My Fortune Cookie told me:
Saturday very favorable for romance. Try a single person for a change.

Should I? Should I dump Grandpère and seek out a single person instead? I want to know.

  1. No, it means no one but GP, who needs extra loving after this week's mishap with the car (i.e. with only "a single person" rather than your usual Cajun lovefests with anyone and everyone, including those of us misfits that populate the web).

  2. I was going to say, "check his driving record first" -- but Klady's right.

    Love to you and GP.

  3. Oh dear, Klady, you mean those rumors of Cajun lovefests are true? I thought it was one of MP's slanders. Dear, dear.

I think it means MG and GP need some good alone time today....

  4. Boy, are you getting desperate to have MP visit your site and comment, or what? If this one doesn't work ....

  5. romance with a single person - that means GP - a singular person for romance! Did you see Bp Frade's letter on Episcopal Cafe

  6. I'd stick with GP. He's a known quantity!
    Hope things are better today!

  7. ...you mean those rumors of Cajun lovefests are true?

    Paul, absolutely!

The consensus seems to be to stick with the old man - the known quantity. I suppose that's right. I don't believe that this old bitch (meant in the most flattering way) can learn new tricks with a different old dog, even if he's single.

Ann, I will head right over to read Bp. Frade's letter.

  8. I followed your link and got my very own cookie from Miss Fortune.
It said. "Better start drinking now."

So ... what should I drink?

  9. Of course you could dump GP thereby rendering him single and available.

  10. So ... what should I drink?

Mike, drinker's choice, just so there's alcohol content.

TheMe, the twists of your mind are too much for me. They often are, you know.

  12. Fran, it seems that I have been advised against it, and I shall heed that advice.

  14. Jan, that's pretty much the idea. Keep 'em guessing.
