"Purr De Lis"

My Mother's Day present from my daughter was a signed and numbered copy of the print pictured above. Isn't it a wonderful? How much more New Orleans could you cram into one picture? I love it, love it, love it. Here's the link to the web site of The Creole Cat. The titles of the pictures are, you know, like, totally cute and clever, aren't they?

Thank you, daughter, A. The gift is much admired and appreciated.

I may buy another to have a pair to hang side by side. If you visit the website, please recommend which of the others you'd choose.

  1. That is a wonderful present.

There are so many that it's hard to choose. If it were me, I'd pick either Clawrinet Blues or Purrservation Hall, but they may not speak to you.

I'll be interested to see which you choose.

  2. They're all great. I liked Streetcat Named Desire and Mid Kitty Carriages.

  3. I agree- all wonderful.

The sadness of the Purrfect Storm really spoke to me.

  4. Like rhc, I love Purrservation Hall. I like Purrfect Storm but it has too many sad memories.

  5. Cat du Monde reminds me that it is just as well that I live 1,000s of km away from New Orleans. Coffee and sweet things to eat with it are my 2 greatest addictions

  9. Oh, it's gorgeous. (And looks like my late lamented cat of some years ago, Alyosha, aka Alyosha the Bodhicat.) I don't dare go to the website or I'll be there for hours.

Thanks for sharing this lovely picture.

  10. They're all pretty delightful. To go with Purr De Lis, I'd suggest Cat O'Brien or Purrseveration Hall, or Cat du Monde. Purr De Lis is female elegance, so an elegant male cat is the best match.

  11. Oh Grandmere mimi-- they are wonderfully clever. I do like Cat Tuesday best! I, too will be interested to see if/which you choose.

    Many blessings on your daughter!
