A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles in a year.
Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.
Kind of makes you proud to be American.

ReplyDeleteMany of us 'recovering-alcoholics' are attempting to force our Government into making Laws that require all liquor manufacturers have large Health warning labels on every container. But seeing as a good percentage of our Officials, like to drink, I'm starting to wonder, if we'll ever
see it happen!
Couple of questions for you. I would like to send you a copy of my letter, on Health Damange caused by ALCOHOL,so if you could let me know if possible or not.
AND in your opening page, I love that line 'Guard me......'etc.
May I have your permission to use that same line in my 2nd work avenue, that being to help others in grief & sorrow, through our Lord & Saviour.
