Brian, perhaps if we all went out and spent what we have left, it would help the economy. Then again, maybe not. Maybe there's not enough of it to make a difference.
ReplyDeleteWhen I studied Economics long long ago, there was a name for this which I cannot remember. Something about what is good for everyone to do is not necessarily good for the individual alone. So yes, we need more spending by everyone but unfortunately if you and I are the only ones to do this, we will end up in the poor house.
