  2. I've seen this before, but still find it to be a sweet reminder of how to live.

  3. It is a nice reminder and what a clever way to send on a chain e-mail. I usually just read and trash.

  4. Thanks for choosing to share this with the rest of us.

  5. I have peas in my garden right now, and thyme and lettuce. No squash, or turnips, but basil, carrots, and radishes. Each thing I harvest is a gift of sunlight and chlorophyl. Gardens reward meditation.

  6. IT, how lovely. Our tomatoes started coming in. They are delicious.

We had one tomato plant in a protected spot near the house that produced through the winter until we had a frost, which killed the tomatoes, but not the plant. As soon as the weather warmed, the plant produced tomatoes again.

  7. Communication. You forgot to mention the importance of talking to the plants in your garden- I know mine fail to flourish without it.

  8. Petty, I just separated several of my African violents that had grown into two plants. A couple of them are not looking too good. Maybe if I talk to them....

  9. Believe me, it never fails but you do get some funny looks if the neighbours catch you at it. You also might start to worry if they talk back - the plants, not the neighbours.
