I laughed when I saw that one -- reminds me of people who move to Wyoming and then complain when a coyote eats their frou frou dog or an owl scoops up kitty for lunch.
Ann, an owl (or owls) in our neighborhood sometimes seems to follow me on my evening walk. Should I be concerned? Once it flew about three feet over my head to its next perch. I'm glad they can't swoop people away.
Actually, I enjoy them quite a lot. An owl in flight close-up is quite a sight. They are big birds.
Indeed! Should I add an irony alert, Kirke?
ReplyDeleteI bet that person was at your healthcare meeting, Mimi...

ReplyDeleteDoxy, no doubt.

Definitely an irony alert situation...and if it were fark.com, it would get the "dumba##" label!
ReplyDeleteKirke, you're not at all a dumbass. Ya gotta watch these little stories. I've had a few "Gotcha!" moments myself.
