I was going to declutter and organize once by following flylady.com. The Flylady sent tons of email the cluttered up my mailbox. One day Flylady said to get rid of anything at all that was causing clutter overload in your life, so I did. I got rid of Flylady.
I did find FlyLady helped for a while but I just couldn't keep interested in it. It bored me. You can get one daily digest tho BooCat, to avoid the email overload :-)
The get well cards would simply add to the clutter.
Too true, whiteycat.

LOL!
My clutter is confined to certain spots. Tom is much worse than I am. He's a true pack rat. I have to get stern with him from time to time. I think of our poor children if we don't do something about all our stuff before we're off to the Sweet Bye-and-Bye.
I can't stop myself bringing home books. There is no more room in my house for bookcases and my living room table is piled high with them and all the chairs too. I really have too many but I don't know how to stop. I can't make myself get rid of any of them either :-(
Love it. I must remember that one :-)
ReplyDeleteI must remember that one
ReplyDeleteCathy, you've been living the reality lately. :-( Things will be better, I'm sure.
That's exactly what I do!

ReplyDeletesusan, credit due. Not many folks get ahead of Maxine.
ReplyDeleteJCF, it's a sure thing.
This is a great idea. However, my friends already know that I **** as a housekeeper. The get well cards would simply add to the clutter.
ReplyDeleteWhat whiteycat said.

I have a terminal case of PRS ... Pack Rat Syndrome!
ReplyDeleteI'm a pack rat too. :-(
ReplyDeleteIs a collector all that different from a pack rat? I am, rather was, a collector.
ReplyDeleteThe only difference is one more syllable.
ReplyDeleteAt least my keepsies in my different collections are similar in kind and not willy-nilly like one person I know.

ReplyDeleteWell, when you drop a bomb like that, Mimi, you must tell us who it is!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Cathy! If books count....
ReplyDeletesusan, who else but the man I love?
I think books count.
ReplyDeleteWhat do Tom's collections consist of then, if you don't mind my asking? ...
I've got to run to my son Patrick's house now. Like the demons, Tom's collections are legion. I'll tell you later and mine, too.
ReplyDeleteWe shall look forward to hearing about them :-)
