  1. What to say beyond my comment of January 27th anticipating the wing-nuts playing "blame the victim"?

  2. Rachel or whoever at MSNBC did a fine job of presenting all the pertinent information.

  3. The comments over at Mark Harris'!

I just can't deal with this, anymore. James has a favorite expression, "F**ck that noise!"

I simply can't deal with this garbage of "dialoguing" and the rest of the nonsense. These people, the Kurts, and Sam F.'s, and all those - the Martin T.'s and LGMarshalls - they are bad people! I tried so hard to believe they were misguided, or simply sick, but they are just evil, and to keep up this weak stance of "patience-and-understanding-will-make-us-a-family-again" it's just . . . I can't do it, anymore.

Every slash and hack post by these wicked, horrible, inhuman creatures is another sword through my soul, and the ones who "represent" us keep letting them go on - sacrificing all of us on the altar of their personal principals. Complain, and these "representatives" have no problem whatsoever censoring a supposed constituent/ally, have no problem engaging in harsh criticism that they so delicately avoid with the vicious "conservatives."

What's to believe in? Who's to trust? There's no longer even a center to hold, because no one will stand up for us and say, "This far and no farther."

  4. Mark, since I left a few comments, I was following the thread. Why not stay away from such commentary if it upsets you so?

What's to believe in? Who's to trust?

As the coins say, "In God we trust."

  5. You're right.

That's why I see no value in continuing any of this. It's destroying my soul.

I have to learn to turn off caring, and certainly learn to turn off trusting "the church" as a force of good or change.

  6. Mark, I don't know about you, but I go through periods when I've had enough of the churchy stuff, and I back off for a while, which I'm pretty much doing right now.

  7. I do see the necessity of a structure for corporeal entities (aka: us chickens) to explore spirituality, but the medium has become the message!
