ReplyDeleteSpeaking of St Teresa and orgasms, it's all there in her writings. If the dear woman is not describing orgasms then it's something very like them. Bernini got it right. It's a wonder her writings have not been suppressed.
Mystics have always been viewed with suspicion at the very least. And perhaps we know why. Unregulated orgasms indeed! Hierarchies cannot allow that sort of thing.
