I didn't listen to her because she was my
mother & wouldn't know anything until
I was much older.

  1. That is so true!!! Hope you had a nice day yesterday, Mimi, and that your children aren't giving you too much grief.

  2. Susan s., we had a nice day...lunch at a Japanese restaurant here named Geaux Fish. Go figure. The food and the company were good.

My children are not giving me grief. With my son having full-time custody of his 11 year old, I'm on duty quite a lot, and I have much less time at my disposal.

I hope you had a good day.

    1. Glad to know you had a good day, etc!

I went to church in the morning, sang in the choir, and then went again in the afternoon for evensong. Flowers from The Boy. The new Sherlock for dessert!

  3. A permutation on the Lincoln saw, re his father:

    Honest Abe,

"When I was 17, I thought my father a fool.
When I was 21, I was surprised how much he'd learned."
