GOVERNOR JINDAL STAYS HOME
From DemocraticUnderground.com
.
Bobby Jindal was passed over...
1. As Mitt Romney's choice for vice-president
2. As keynote speaker for the Republican National Convention
3. As a speaker in prime time at the RNC
That's not to say that I think the governor is staying home for any reason other than the approach of Tropical Storm Isaac.

ReplyDeleteOh, Mimi. . . an observation fit for Francis Urquhart! As in "You may think so my dear, but I couldn't possibly comment!"
susan s., you don't take everything in the Bible literally, do you? Well then.... ;-)
DeleteAnd Jindal is also asking for Federal reimbursement for every penny LA spends on the storm
ReplyDeleteYou betcha, susankay, although I don't see how he will do so without blushing and cringing.
DeleteHey, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do. Better that he distances himself from these bozos.
ReplyDeleteBut, but, but...no...I won't say it. I'll simply continue in puzzlement as to how Bobby won a Rhodes Scholarship.
DeleteHe Whut??? Hee Hee!
Delete. . . but wait: there's MORE.
ReplyDeleteI think it's fair to say that there's a bit of hypocrisy at play here.
DeleteGreat pic in this morning's paper. Two National Guard Humvees (looks like another behind them) plowing through the water in the middle of the storm on their serious business.
ReplyDeleteI think I heard one of the guys saying, "We're from the Government, and we're here to help."
(Porlock once again trying in vain to get stuff posted and signed, and forgetting once again to sign the Anonymous posting that's all he can achieve)
