KATE RUSBY - THE LARK
Out in the field where the lark it flies, Over the earth where my heart it lies, Oh how it sings when the west wind blows, Out in the field where no-one goes.
On Kate's new album, 'Twenty', she does a re-recording of this song with the great Nic Jones singing harmony. It's a moving moment, given that she's always identified Nic as her musical hero.
Beautiful lady. Beautiful song. Heartwarming.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the song, Bonnie.
DeleteThe word is "HOTTIE"! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIf you say so, JCF. :-)
DeleteUnderneath the Stars is even better.
ReplyDeleteThere's a fantastic YouTube video here with images from the Hubble Telescope.
Thanks, James. The video is lovely. I have the album with the title song.
