I'd say Grandpère could have written this little story, but he minds very much waiting for a little while.
I did notice that. He really is a dear though.
ReplyDeleteGP is a dear, Amelia. He cooks, he shops for groceries, and he even does a little cleaning from time to time. And the poor baby has put up with me for 48 years. That's a lot of wear and tear over a long period of time.
ReplyDeleteIt may be just a basic guy thing -- I notice it when my love is ill -- he defines patience as being willing to have a cold/flu/whatever for 24 hours. After that IT IS NO FAIR. ... sigh
ReplyDeleteSusankay, I've known a few men who were patient. My maternal grandfather was quite patient, but when he lost patience, he erupted like a volcano.
